More than PHP

Hi all.

Just a quick note to say that I've asked the fine folks at planet-php to pick up only my PHP category.

This will let me use my blog for other not-necessarily-PHP posts, and it will keep me from becoming one of those guys who post useless personal entries to the planet.

I hope you'll still read the rest of my blog, but this way, I don't have to force it on you.

My full feed is here: http://blog.phpdoc.info/feeds/index.rss2, and as always, you can read my blog via your browser at: http://blog.phpdoc.info/.

Thanks.

S

There was a planet PHP in french (as french is too poor to be included in english version)

    http://www.phpmafia.net/

    but it seems down actually.

I would love it to see only php related stuff on the planet and not posts about vacations reports and such stuff, but unfortunately not everyone seems to have categories.

I hope that others follow your move and planet aggregates only php related feeds in the future.

I like seeing non-php related stuff on the planet, it's good to know that others have lives ;)

Having said that, I enjoy only aggregating a PHP category so I can choose what goes up and what doesn't.

Use people. like a spam filter bayesien.

Planet reader can vote if the post is in or out context.

Some readers like moderators can choose for ambigous posts

with something like if value is more than X, auto publish else hide post and if value is little below X, submit a request to moderators to judge it
